A couple of years ago, precisely in 2009, popular Yoruba actor, Jide Alabi left the movie industry for the reasons best known to him. Then, his fans who can’t probably afford to miss him on screen were asking for his whereabouts until some months after when he appeared on SilverBird Television where he was presenting sports programme after Wale Scott left the station to join radio.
Then, Jide, who studied Mass Communication fully, went into broadcasting which automatically denied him chance to feature in Nollywood movies including TV weekly series which he is known for. He has since been invisible in the industry until when he resurfaced in a recent movie production. He dazzled in the film with a fantastic role played by him. The flick was produced by Chief Olusegun Odunuga and Marketed by Gemini Films. It featured the likes of Funsho Adeolu,Lanre Hassan, Monsuru Obadina, Olu Olowogemo, Tunde Sobayo, Bimbo Oshin, Jide Alabi and many others. It was released on Monday 8th August 2016.
