Promising actress, Ayonimofe Onibiyo, the producer of Aolat, Tania, Iwalewa and others has rubbished the scandal currently going on in and outside the industry that she is a wicked person, which is the reason she is always playing the wicked wife’s roles in many movies.
The slim but beautiful actress reacted that people shouldn’t judge her based on her movie roles because the Mofe Onibiyo they see on screen is obviously different from the real one you see in real life.

The allegation came up immediately after a new movie titled Boundary of Love (Aala Ife) was released on LibraTV on YouTube, where she played the lead role and maltreated her mother in-inlaw, Jumoke George.

One of her fans, who was carried away with the story line of the flick, forgetting the fact that it was a make-belief industry, put down a controversial comment under the film after watching, claiming that the actress must be very wicked in real life because she is always playing such roles.

This automatically generated controversies as other fans joined the arguments after his comment.

When YorubaMovieGist spoke to Mofe on this issue, she said, “This is ridiculous. I don’t know why some people will just wake up and start causing trouble when there is none”.

“Imagine that? For God sake, I am a professional when it comes to acting and I need to give the account of the professionalism in me. Saying that the roles I play in movies are my real person, you are definitely getting it wrong. I act according to the script we are working on”.

“My attention was initially drawn to this particular comment and to be candid with you, I was really fumed, but there was nothing to say. I am the type that I don’t like going after my fans because without them I am nobody”.

“The producer of Aala Ife believed that I can play the role and he called me. I got paid to play that role and I needed to play it perfectly, not because of the weight of the money I collected but for the role to open doors for me elsewhere”.

“If u mix my personal life with my acting, you are definitely getting it wrong. And if you say I am wicked because of my role in Aala Ife, Aolat, Iwalewa and others, please what would you now say to veteran Nollywood actresses and my mentors, Patience Ozokwor, Sola Sobowale and others? “Wickeders”? Common let us get matured and go beyond all these meaningless thoughts you have about actors”, she explained.
