How TOPE AGBEYO Emerged TAMPAN Man Of The Year

That the much anticipated TAMPAN Man of the Year, whom many have been eager to know
since the day for the event was fixed, has finally been unveiled, is no longer news. Dr. Tope
Agbeyo, the CEO Media Concepts was given the award as TAMPAN Man of the Year at Muson
Center on 16th November 2017 which was the first day of the 3 days event of 2nd TAMPAN
Convention. He was decorated by Oba Elegushi at the event.
According to an insider, Dr. Tope was honoured for his selfless service to the theatre industry and
a recognition of his outstanding support. We scooped that each time the association is in distress
and it needed a strong hand for support, Agbeyo has always been playing vital roles
underground without blowing his trumpet.
It was in a bid to reward his philanthropic heart of
gold that he earned his new status as TAMPAN man of the year. If you must know, Dr. Tope
Agbeyo is the Chairman Cornfield Group, which comprises Media Concepts International
Limited, Botosoft Technologies Limited, Cornfield Transnational Limited and FOAM Studio
Nigeria Limited. On January 2017, the Joseph Ayo Babalola University in Osun State conferred
on him an honorary doctorate degree alongside the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11.
While his family and fans were still revelling in that joy, a high-powered team from the state of
Georgia arrived Lagos to deliver a resolution by both the Georgia Senate and House of
Representatives to recognize and commend him for his dedication to public service and support
for people around the world and Georgia, in particular. Information has it that the team was led
by 86-year-old Mrs. Naomi Ruth Barber King, widow of American rights activist, A.D King.
was accompanied by Representative Sharon Beasley-Teague of district 65, Georgia House of
Representatives, and Dr Babs Onabanjo, President of A.D King Foundation. They were hosted at
the Nigerian Corporate headquarters of Agbeyo’s Cornfield Group.King, who was visiting Africa
for the first time, was full of praises for Agbeyo, whom she described as a beacon of light for
other entrepreneurs on the continent. Agbeyo’s company is a holding company for Media
Concepts International Limited, Botosoft Technologies Limited and FOAM Studio Nigeria
