How Adeleke Abiodun Joined Nollywood Revealed! Wins MAYA Awards’ Break Out Actor of the Year
Fast rising actor, Adeleke Abiodun has been emerged winner of the 2018 MAYA Awards’ Break Out Actor of the year, at the event which took place at Yard 158, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregu, Ikeja, Lagos, on Sunday 18th November 2018. The star in the making, Abiodun, who couldn’t keep the good news to himself alone, took to his Instagram page to share it and appreciate his fans and the organizers of the award.
If you must know, the handsome dude is a product of a strong, well-grounded Muslim family. He was born in October 1st 198s and he is the first child of a family of three. He was born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo-State, Nigeria. He attended Holy Infant Nursery School Ibadan, Ikolaba Grammar School, and finally bagged a National Diploma in Business Administrations at the Polytechnic of Ibadan.
During the course of his education, he became interested in acting and he was introduced to an actor known as Sola Kareem aka “Italo”. He advised him to pursue a career in acting and with his assistance; he was able to network with many other great actors in the industry.
His first acting role was in a movie titled “OGIRI ALAPA” produced by Tamilore Ojo Martins in 2012; and that opportunity propelled him to move in the direction of becoming an actor and making it a career.
In 2015, he joined Veteran Nollywood actor, Rasaq Olayiwola at the Ojopagogo Film institute and he later ventured into movie production with his first movie titled “AJERE”, followed by “EJE FALANA” and “IWE”. Over the years, he has been blessed to be featured in many blockbuster movies.
