Electoral VIOLENCE and KILLINGS in Nigeria: Read Yoruba Movie Practitioners’ Plan For 2019 Election!
An official statement made available to members by the Director of Public Relations and Media Affairs for the Yoruba movie practitioners in Nigeria, TAMPAN, Mr Yomi Fash-Lanso, has declared February 6th, 2019 a date to walk against electoral violence and killing in Nigeria.
According to the release, “Good Day Great members of our dear association TAMPAN.
In pursuance of our civic duty and to sensitize the general public TAMPAN NEC has agreed to have PEACEFUL WALK come February 6th 2019 to register the association’s displeasure towards electoral VIOLENCE and KILLINGS that has become the order of the day in our dear nation through polictics. We’ll all agree that for many years now thousands of lives had been wasted due to political violence in our country. Especially that of our young ones. Future leaders of this our great Nation.
As a non – political organization it is sancrosant that the association takes it rightful position, propagate good governance and peaceful elections that is free of VIOLENCE, KILLING, MAIMING and MURDER.
The PEACEFUL WALK will start from LTV8 on Agidingbi road ikeja to Awolowo/ Allen Avenue round about to Government Office Alausa then back to LTV8.
