That is the quote that best illustrates the death of popular Yoruba movie costumier, Lola Awe’s dad, Pa Awe Olusola Adisa, who slept in the Lord on Saturday 17th October 2015 after a visit to a wedding ceremony in Ilesha, Osun State-Nigeria.

According to the information gathered by over the weekend, Pa Olusola attended a wedding ceremony in the neighborhood and after taken photograph with the couple, he drove himself back home and told the people around him he wanted to relax for 2 minutes so that he can be present at another bridal rite which was said to have been a family member’s wedding in the same town.IMG_20151019_003954

A couple of hours after, he joined his ancestors as he couldn’t wake up from his sleep. He died at age 62 and he was buried on Sunday 18th October 2015 according to Christian rites of burying their dead. The final burial arrangement to be announced soon by the family.
